Yell “Wazzup!” at the Geek’d Con Scary Movie Reunion
Shreveport’s premier pop culture event, Geek'd Con, is officially set to return to the Shreveport Convention Center this summer. The massive three-day convention will take place in Downtown Shreveport from August 14th through the 16th, 2026, delivering the ultimate weekend for fans across the Ark-La-Tex.
Geek'd Con serves as the largest gathering of its kind in North Louisiana...offering a weekend of celebrity appearances, professional photo ops, and a massive vendor floor. This year's event already boasts a powerhouse guest lineup featuring Hollywood royalty and music legends, including David Arquette, Shannon Elizabeth, Summer Glau, and Slipknot's Chris Fehn, with even more massive names from Star Wars, True Blood, comic book legends, and anime favorites.
Attendees gain access to events that includes celebrity meet and greets and professional photo ops. The floorplan also provides over 200 vendor booths, alongside free games, and trivia contests.
Scary Movie Franchise Cast Members Attending Geek'd Con
The Scary Movie franchise is currently experiencing a resurgence with a new film release scheduled for this summer. This upcoming release features the return of several original actors alongside new additions to the property.
Five actors connected to the Scary Movie series will attend the Shreveport event. The guest list includes Dave Sheridan, Jon Abrahams, Shannon Elizabeth, Lochlyn Munro, and Felissa Rose.
Cast members will be present to meet fans throughout the Geek'd weekend. They will participate in scheduled autograph sessions and professional photography appointments.

Fans attending the convention have the opportunity to interact directly with the actors during autograph sessions. Dave Sheridan's Ghostface made magic with Anna Faris' Cindy in the original Scary Movie release. This scene was maybe one of the best interactions between the two. Dave Sheridan can break down the filming of this one with fans all weekend.

More Dave Sheridan...its almost like his dual Doofy/Ghostface role was the best in the franchise.

The rapid fire comedy whenever Jon Abrahams was on screen as Bobby was laugh out loud funny. This legendary exchange is top of that mountain.

Once again, Dave Sheridan lines are going to end up closing out our list. His interactions with his sister Buffy are absolute classics. Although this isn't the most iconic line in the exchange...its the one we can post here.
