2026 is gearing up to be a HUGE year for all things Marvel. If you're like me and still collect physical comics, Marvel is launching the universe altering event "Ultimate Endgame" that will bring about the end of the Ultimate Universe.

If you're just into the movies and TV shows, there's plenty going on there too. There's 8 announced projects to be released in 2026. The next epic chapter in the Avengers series, Avengers: Doomsday is set to launch this year. But there's plenty of other stuff coming out too on the Marvel front.

Let's take a look at the release schedule, because the first project launched at the end of January.

January 2026:
January 27: Wonder Man (Disney+)

The first Marvel project of the year is the "meta" TV special Wonder Man. This project looks to be one of the most unique shows from Marvel that will tackle subjects like 'Superhero Fatigue". Now, how much Simon Williams factors into the overall Marvel Universe remains to be seen. This could be like Moon Knight where it's a self contained story that doesn't impact the overall universe or he could be like Daredevil or the Punisher who plays a role in the MCU. We'll find out in a few weeks.
March 2026:
March 2026: Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 (Disney+)

Marvel has yet to release the trailer for Born Again Season 2 publicly, it's only been seen and 'leaked' at NYCC. There also has not been a firm date released yet for Season 2. What we do know is that Jessica Jones is back, Kingpin is back and that unlike Season 1, this won't be pieced together with old & new footage (for those that don't know, Marvel filmed one Daredevil show...decided to bring back some OG cast members, changed the story and "Frankensteined" the show together), this will be a complete story told from beginning to end with cast intact.
Summer 2026:
Summer 2026: X-Men '97 Season 2 (Disney+)

Much like DD, outside of the trailer during NYCC, Marvel hasn't said much about X-Men '97. The first season was highly popular and a lot of people are fired up for the new season. Outside of a general summer release, we don't have many details about when or what to expect from Season 2.
July 2026
July 31: Spider-Man: Brand New Day (Sony/Marvel Studios)

We know the date, we know that Tom Holland's Spider-Man will be teaming up with Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle. While details about the plot are sparse, we know we can expect appearances from the Hulk, Scorpion, Tombstone and a few new characters. It's also expected that Daredevil will make an appearance in the movie.
Fall 2026
Fall 2026: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 (Disney+)

Much like several other projects on this list, details are extremely limited on Season 2 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. What is known is that season 1 was pretty awesome and I can't wait for Season 2 to drop!

December 2026
December 18: Avengers: Doomsday (Marvel Studios)

This is going to be one of the biggest Marvel projects ever. We know Robert Downey Jr. is back...but this time as the iconic Marvel villain Doctor Doom. We know Steve Rogers is back. We know Thor is back. We know the X-Men will make an appearance. We also know this is going to be a film of epic proportions. Beyond that, we don't have a full trailer or synopsis yet. But...do we really need it? We're all going to go see this regardless.
