Dr. Disrespect has to be one of my favorite people on the planet. Last night, his brand grew even bigger.

If you would have told me ten years ago that in 2020 one of my favorite entertainers would be a guy who plays videos online, I would have no doubt called you crazy. In fact, there's no real reason for me to truly love this guy when you look at it using a bare bones approach. Simply put, Dr. Disrespect is an online video game streamer, and I am not a huge fan of video games. Certainly not a huge fan of shooter video games, the type that the Doc streams the most. Yet, here I am, three days a week glued to his stream every time he goes live.

The reason is actually pretty simply. While I am not necessarily a video game fan, I am a huge entertainment fan. In the world of online gaming, literally no one is as entertaining as Dr. Disrespect. In fact, I will go as far as saying there's no one on the planet that can do what he does. It's much more than a stream, and it's much more than a guy playing video games.

A short while ago, the Doc was on hiatus after his abrupt (and still un-explained) ban from the streaming platform Twitch. After months of silence, he released a teaser-type song to his Champions Club entitled, "Alleyways". This song was the first we had heard from Dr. Disrespect since his ban, so it was  incredibly signifigant. Since, the song has racked up million of views on YouTube and millions of plays on streaming services. His return to streaming a little less than a month ago on YouTube is certainly one reason for the song's success.

Now, the song and Dr. Disrespect hit a new high as it was played during game seven between Oklahoma City and Houston in the NBA Playoffs.
