Bricks 4 Kidz Free Brick Building Lab Returns To Geek’d Con Shreveport
This August, Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con returns to Downtown Shreveport. When this event started back in 2015, not many people probably expected the event to still be going a decade later. But it's 2025, and Geek'd Con is coming back to the Shreveport Convention Center, August 22nd-24th. That's right, its Geek'd Con's 10th Anniversary!
This year's guest lineup will feature some callbacks to the original Geek'd Con. Guests like Jeremy London, who appeared at the first Geek'd Con in 2015, John Wesley Shipp who appeared at Geek'd Con 2018, and Vanessa Angel who appeared at Geek'd Con in 2021.
What Other Returns Will Happen At Geek'd Con?
Another big return to Geek'd Con this year will be the Bricks 4 Kidz Brick Building Lab. Which will once again take place in the beautiful Red River Boardroom, overlooking Downtown Shreveport.
You can work with hundreds-of-thousands of bricks to build your own creation. Spend time building with Bricks 4 Kidz in between your comic book hunt, panel participation, and photo ops. All weekend long, you can come and go as much as you'd like.
All of this is FREE at Geek'd Con. Whenever you want, as many times as you'd like, you can make your way to the Brick Building Lab to enjoy some Lego leisure time with the crew from Bricks 4 Kidz.
It's all thanks to Bricks 4 Kids Shreveport-Bossier. The team at Bricks 4 Kids provides an extraordinary atmosphere for students to build unique creations, play games, & have loads of fun using Lego bricks! They offer school camps, holiday sessions, and summer camps where kids can learn STEM skills through brick building. Not only that, but Bricks 4 Kids offers birthday party packages...which you know would be incredible.
What Celebrities Can You Meet Geek'd Con 2025?
You can meet award winning actor Jason Lee, along with his Mallrats costars Ethan Suplee and Jeremy London. Terrifier stars David Howard Thornton and Samantha Scaffidi will also be appearing.
This year's guest lineup already includes a 35th Anniversary "Shell-a-Bration" for the release of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Including voice actors Brian Tochi (Leonardo), Robbie Rist (Michalangelo), and martial artists Ernie Reyes, Jr. (Donatello) and Kenn Scott (Raphael). The four Turtles actors will be joined by Francois Chau, who portrayed The Shredder in the TMNT film universe as well.
