High Five Gaming Bringing Retro Consoles and Tournaments to Geek’d Con

Geek'd Con 2026 will be here before you know it. It's going down at the Shreveport Convention Center in Downtown Shreveport August 14-16. On top of the great guests and vendors, there's always a TON of fun stuff to do. And this year, we're introducing something new. For the first time, we're pairing up with High Five Gaming for a video game room!

The game room is going to be pretty sick! There's going to be over 300 games to choose from and tournaments all weekend long! Below is everything you need to know about the High Five Gaming Room.

Free to Play Games at Geek'd Con

Need a few minutes to chill out and relax? This might be the PERFECT place to do it! High Five Gaming will have 18 individual game set ups with all sorts of retro games. Here's what you can expect in the free-to-play area:

• 3 Nintendo Mini (30 Games)
• 3 Super Nintendo Mini (21 Games)
• 3 Sega Genesis Mini 1&2 (100 Games)
• 2 Playstation 1 Mini (20 Games)
• 1 Atari Mini (130 Games)

Guitar Hero 3 will also be available in the free to play area. In short, you'll have the ability to play over 300 games for the low cost of FREE! And that doesn't include the tournaments!

The High Five Gaming Video Game Tournaments

The Gaming Room will also feature a tournament area. The 'Free-Play' Tournaments will be going on all weekend long and every will get a prize - no matter where you finish. You'll be able to sign up for the tournaments at the High Five Gaming booth on the main floor. Below are the tournaments currently planned for the weekend:
