Everything You Need To Know About the 2023 Cosplay Contest
Geek'd Con 2023 is back for another fantastic year in Downtown Shreveport. We're super pumped to be able to bring in some amazing guest and be able to hangout with each and every one of you again.
As you may have noticed, this year's line up is bigger than past years. We have more vendors than ever before. We will have a second vendor room upstairs, two panel rooms and a WHOLE LOTE MORE! Simply put, Geek'd Con 2023 is going to be the biggest one yet.
With that said, we'd like to officially announce the return of the Geek'd Con Cosplay contest! Once again, this year's contest will be hosted by Matt Knowles & Steph Cannon from Insymmetry Creations and judged by a panel of expert cosplayers.
The Cosplay contest will take place on Sunday, August 20th at 1 pm. There will be cash prizes totaling $2,500! There will be an Adult Category, which is for people over the age of 13. A Group Category with 2 or more people And then a Kids Category for those 12 & under. Below is the prize breakout for winners.
- 1st Place Adult will win $1000
- 2nd Place Adult will win $500
- Group Winner $750
- Best Kids cosplay will win $250
