Though they're not actually from Boulder (more like mid-Denver?...ish?), the only negative one could say about Boulder Acoustic Society is that they were somewhat dishonest about their namesake. Everything else about them just...rocks.

If you're a fan of country, bluegrass, folk, rock, and rap (okay, maybe not rap) then you would be a fan of Jim Lauderdale, as he combines all of those styles into one that has lasted nearly 25 years and has been recorded by artists such as Patty Lovelace and George Straight.

Long Road Home is a long way from home, but that doesn't mean that they're not rocking! This men's group seems to have an affinity for nice clothes, cool facial hair, and awesome music.

Don't let the name fool you, The 23 String Band ain't no classical orchestra. Combining all sorts of different stringed instruments, 23 also has some very unique voices that adds to this very one of a kind folk-esque band.

As his namesake might suggest, The Reverend Peyton and his Big Damn Band took the crowd at Beartrap Summer Festival 2011 to church on Saturday.
