Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, unfortunately had to miss the 2020 show due to the COVID pandemic restrictions around the state. But the show is back on for 2021! The show's return will be August 13th-15th at the Shreveport Convention Center.

Before the pandemic, Geek'd Con had become one of the biggest pop culture events in the region. With guests like Michael Rooker, LeVar Burton, Elvira, Peter Mayhew, Chris Sarandon, and more.

The 2021 lineup looks like one of the biggest ever for the event. Looking at the lineup for this year, you'd have no idea that the entire show had to be scrapped last year.

This year Geek'd Con will be highlighted by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Alice Cooper.

Yes, Alice Cooper has played concerts in Shreveport regularly since the 1970s, but this isn't a one hour set. Alice Cooper will be live on Saturday and Sunday, in-person, to meet fans, sign autographs, and take pictures.

In addition, the guest lineup includes Jason Mewes (Jay from Jay and Silent Bob fame), Peter Facinelli (Twilight movies), Emily Swallow (The Armorer from Star Wars' The Mandalorian), Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin from Happy Gilmore), Murr from Impractical Jokers, as well as guests from Harry Potter, Marvel's Avengers Endgame, Supernatural, the Food Network, the SyFy Channel, and more.

You can see the whole guest lineup here.

If you want to see this lineup, and score your autographs from these celebrities, make sure to get your tickets now. You can find your tickets at Excalibur Comics on East 70th in Shreveport. The crew at Excalibur have single day and weekend passes in hand, cash or credit.

While you're there, you can scoop up the latest comics, grab some classic silver age books, or take home some Funko Pop Figures. You never know, they might even have Funko Pops of Geek'd Con 2021 guests. Or the first comic appearance of guests like Alice Cooper (Marvel Premier #50) or Morgan Stark (Tales of Suspense #68) who was played by Lexi Rabe in Avengers Endgame. But the Morgan Stark in the comics was MUCH different than the one in the movies...and they can tell you all about that at Excalibur!
