Geek’d Con 2025 Dates: Year 10 of Shreveport’s Comic Con

Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is returning to downtown Shreveport for the tenth time. That's right, 10 years of Geek'd Con in Shreveport.

Planning for the 2015 event started just about 10 years ago in the spring of 2015. By August of that year, over 10,000 fans poured through the Shreveport Convention Center. The blockbuster debut show featured the late Peter Mayhew, voice action legends Jim Cummings, Rob Paulsen, and Maurice LaMarche. Not to mention comic creators like Joe Eisma, Ben Dunn, Jason Starr, and the creator of Lady Deadpool, Victor Gischler.

From there, the show kept growing, in 2016 the woman behind Elvira, Mistress of the Dark...Cassandra Peterson, was live in Shreveport. Along with Hollywood stars like Tara Reid & Kathy Najimy. That year also featured legendary comic artist, and the cretor of The New Teen Titans and Infinity Gauntlet, the late George Perez.

Over the years, stars like Kevin Smith, Alice Cooper, Matthew Lillard, LeVar Burton, Estelle, Brandon Routh, Michael Rooker, Lou Ferrigno, Helen Slater, Chris Sarandon, Billy Zane, Skeet Ulrich, Henry Thomas, Lori Petty, Peter Facinelli, Sam Witwer, and Emily Swallow have all joined the fun in Shreveport.

Not to mention the legendary pro wrestling talent that has visited the show. Including Hall of Fame stars like Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Trish Stratus, Kevin Nash, John Bradshaw Layfield, The Godfather, Jimmy Hart, and Brutus the Barber Beefcake. With younger wrestling stars making appearance too, like Danhausen, Darby Allin, and Karlee Perez all appearing at the shows.

There have been numerous anime voice actors, video game voice, and horror movie guests through the event as well.

Vendors, cosplayers, collectors, and fans of all flavors have come to the event in droves. With some years topping 20,000 attendees for the three day weekend. Geek'd Con has become one of the biggest pop culture events in Louisiana.

This year, its year #10...with the show returning to the Shreveport Convention Center August 22-24, 2025.
