The Shreveport and Bossier geek community has been celebrating geek culture for a long time. With the centerpiece of the geek community becoming Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, every August at the Shreveport Convention Center. But it's a long way until August.

But we've got good news for those who need a comic con fix before that, because CyPhaCon is returning to the Lake Charles Civic Center this April. It's a 3-day event, that is a combination of Anime, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and gaming. This year's CyPhaCon is set for April 3rd-5th, 2020. The event has been running since 2011, and has featured celebrity guests like Julian Glover, Sonny Strait, Chuck Huber, Tony Amendola, Monica Rial, Robert Axelrod, and many more.

This year, CyPhaCon's guest list features the star of multiple sci-fi and horror films Doug Jones, Cristina Vee from Sailor Moon, Eric Vale from the Dragon Ball universe, and now, a pretty big name to top their lineup.

Now CyPhaCon is set to welcome Babylon 5 star Tracy Scoggins!

Scoggins first role came in the television movie Twirl with Heather Locklear and soon after she was cast in her first series, The Renegades, opposite Patrick Swayze.

She also starred as Charlton Heston's daughter, Monica Colby, in the popular series The Colbys, and reprised her role later on Dynasty.

Scoggins got a chance to flex her comedic talent as Catherine "Cat" Grant, the Daily Planet's laser-tongued society columnist on ABC's Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

In one of the highest rated TV movies of 1996, Tracy held her own as attorney Anita Smithfield opposite Larry Hagman's J.R. in Dallas: J.R. Returns and reprised the role several years later in Dallas: War of the Ewings.

Tracy may be best known for her lead role as Captain Elizabeth Lochley, a career military officer, in the award-winning international hit series Babylon 5, in which she starred alongside Bruce Boxleitner, Jerry Doyle and Mira Furlan.
