Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, has been giving fans a chance to meet their favorite actors, actresses, comic book artists, voice actors, and more for over 7 years now. Stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, pro wrestling, anime, and more have been flooding into the Shreveport Convention Center every August since 2015 (you know, except for 2020).

One of the most popular themes for guests has been the horror genre. Different levels of horror too; from horror themed comic book artists to stars of spooky TV shows, from cult classic campy horror films to all time classic horror movies, and everything in between. There have been guests who are "most known" for their work in horror films, but others who might be known for work outside of the horror genre, who have also had some horror roles.

But even within the horror genre, there are levels. For example 2021 Geek'd Con guest Peter Facinelli. On his resume he has the Twilight films, which may not be on the same level as Pet Sematary or Child's Play (which are both on the resumes of other former Geek'd Con guests), but its still in a horror sub-genre.

TV shows like Supernatural have horror elements, movies like Hocus Pocus have a spot in the horror genre, even if its "kids" horror.

Over the last couple of years, we've ranked our favorite "spooky" guests from previous Geek'd Con lineups to celebrate the spooky season around Halloween. But this time we want your help. Vote below for your favorite "Spookiest" Geek'd Con Guests of All Time! By the way, you can vote for multiple guests, and you can come back and vote later. You can also share this with your friends and have them vote too...

Comic Book Movie Stars Who Have Worked In Shreveport

We utilized IMDB's filming location database to help put this together. However there is one movie listed there that we didn't include. IMDB lists X-Men Origins: Wolverine on their Shreveport list, but we struggled to find citing for this. So we just left it off. Some of these stars weren't in comic book "movies" specifically.

But we counted the Netflix Marvel shows, and MCU Disney+ shows as well.

We also added in an odd option...pro wrestlers. Pro wrestling has been a big deal in the Shreveport area for a long time, so we're going to include the wrestlers who've worked in the Shreveport area, and went on to comic book movie fame.
