The instrumental sound of the Jon Stickley Trio could not fit (or should not fit) into one genre. Their sound fuse so many different rhythms and textures together. From something with a Bossa Nova rhythm into a Lynyrd Skynyrd riff, they hey are master of weaving sounds seamlessly together. They were another great example of the verity of styles available on the Hilltop Mountain Top Stage.
For the long-time Beartrap Festival fans, Jon once played the meadow in the band Town Mountain.
