Front Country

Front Country is one of the freshest new faces in the world of bluegrass. Coming all the way from the San Francisco area, Front Country brought some sweet sounds to the ears of festival goers. If they keep up their energy and momentum, this group is sure to be receiving national recognition in a big way.

The Bay Area’s finest young acoustic talent graced our presence at the 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival and put on a phenomenal performance. In this video the group went back to their roots and played this Joni Mitchell song, which they claim is one of their favorites. Bluegrass has a fresh new face, and it's name is Front Country.

The worst part about Beartrap Summer Festival is that, aside from shooting video, interviewing artists and snapping a few photos, I spend most of my time cooped up in a trailer, staring at a computer screen. Don't get me wrong, I still have the best job in the world...
