Beartrap Meadow

With an essence of bluegrass and Americana, the Railsplitters gracefully blend the twangy classic sounds and simple melodies into something of their own.

Going against the grain is a good thing sometimes. Parsonsfield is not afraid to push the traditional standards, yet musically it just makes sense for them.

Woodshed Red's sound can't be boiled down to one style. They are folk, funk, rock, and jam band all inside a single song. Today, they brought the heat.

Sunday morning in Beartrap Meadow started with religious overtones as Cory McDaniel took the stage. It wasn't long till the meadow with glorious music.

Not all bluegrass is the same, and the Jeff Austin Band is a good example. They are not afraid to blur the lines between folk, bluegrass, and rock.

It is easy to tell that Wood & Wire are passionate about their music. Just take a look at their faces when they play. Each member is grinning ear to ear.

The Blue Canyon Boys swing into action with their high octane bluegrass swagger. Dressed in suits, they get to business and get the crowd dancing.

Get your dancing boots on. It is another beautiful day on the Mountain. Casper locals Red Butte launch this year's Beartrap Festival with their toe-tapping music.

It came. It went. We're spent. We loved this year's line-up for Beartrap 2014--from Jalan Crossland, Littlest Birds and Spencer Bohren, to Johnny Sketch, The Deadly Gentlemen and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band--the bluegrass, country, jazz, insert other awesome music type here, rocked our socks off...

Concert goers from all over Wyoming packed into Beartrap Meadow to hear a range of voices, including the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon, and the crowds were eager to express their love for all things bluegrass.
