X-Files and Sons of Anarchy Star Is Coming To Shreveport

Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 2024 Geek'd Con will take place August 16th, 17th, and 18th, at the Shreveport Convention Center. The event has hosted tons of celebrities over the last 9 years from all types of entertainment. From movie stars to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, with viral internet celebrities and professional wrestlers mixed in as well.

The event has become one of the biggest pop culture events in the entire state of Louisiana.

This year's event will feature stars from The Walking Dead, Disney, and now a star from The X-Files will be joining the mix. As Mitch Pileggi will be joining the show.

Mitch Pileggi is probably best known for his role as FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner in the legendary series The X-Files. Skinner appeared in over 90 episodes of The X-Files, as well as both feature films in the franchise. He also appeared in the spinoff show The Lone Gunmen.

Pileggi is also known for his roles in Sons of Anarchy, Stargate Atlantis, Dallas, Walker, and Supernatural.

In comic book related roles, Pileggi voiced Commissioner James Gordon in Cartoon Network's The Batman cartoon, as well as Rama Khan in the Supergirl tv series.

History Of Geek'd Con Guests

Geek'd Con is Shreveport's biggest comic and pop culture event. Launching in 2015, the event quickly became one of the premiere comic con style events in the entire state of Louisiana.

A big part of that growth has been the celebrity guest lineups. Since the first show in 2015, the quality of guests attending Geek'd Con rivals any pop culture event of this size.
