Geek’d Con 2026 In-Costume Photo Ops

Geek'd Con, the annual pop culture event returns to the Shreveport Convention Center this summer from August 14th through the 16th. The event spans three days in Downtown Shreveport, and serves as a primary gathering point for regional fans of all fandoms.

Attendees have the opportunity to interact directly with celebrity guests through, what could basically be described as a giant meet-and-greet, at their designated booth areas. The Geek'd Con weekend schedule features two vendor floors, panel discussions, free events, and of course...scheduled professional photo sessions.

This year's professional photo ops will have a big upgrade. Last year, Geek'd Con featured the first in-costume photo op the event has ever hosted. David Howard Thornton wore his full Art The Clown makeup for a Saturday-only photo op session. Fans reacted so well, this year's event has seen that number explode, and its easy to understand why.

Standing side-by-side with an actor who has stepped completely back into a specific cinematic role provides a rare experience for fans. These encounters transform a standard celebrity photo op into a moment where film history becomes reality right in front of the lens.

Brett Wagner lets you stand beside a legit Leatherface from

Douglas Tait with a session as his Jason Vorhees from Freddy vs. Jason, and one as his Michael Meyers from Halloween Kills
Alex Armbruster in his John Carver costume from Thanksgiving
Bill Perry as his character from The People Under The Stairs
Internet star Leigh McNasty doing pro photo ops as one of his online personas

Then, there are the Ghostfaces...including:
