Geek’d Con Welcomes Marvel Zombies Comic Artist To Shreveport

Shreveport geeks have been waiting patiently for some good news on events. With a lot of the rapid changes on the state's COVID reopening, things are really looking up for Shreveport area geeks in 2021.

That includes this weekend. Because Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con welcomes Marvel Zombies comic artist Arthur Suydam to Excalibur Comics this Saturday!. Suydam will be live at Excalibur on Saturday, March 6th from noon to 5pm for a signing.

Excalibur Comics is located at 937 East 70th Street in Shreveport.

Suydam is an award-winning artist who has worked on Marvel Zombies, Deadpool, The Walking Dead, DCeased, and much more. His amazing Marvel Zombies art is currently taking over the Funko POPs world with a whole new line of zombie offerings. Which he will also be signing on Saturday.

He's also known for his Black Panther covers as well, Arthur’s work has graced the frontage of scores of pop-culture heavy hitters, with everything from Walking Dead, to Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth, to Batman Vs. Predator, Aliens, and the ever popular and ground-breaking Marvel Zombies. Arthur Suydam's other comic book work includes such titles as Batman, Conan, Tarzan, Predator, and Death Dealer. His cover work includes Ghost Rider, Hellstorm, Moon Knight, Wolverine, Marvel Zombies vs. The Army of Darkness, and Raise the Dead. He is currently doing covers for Dynamite Comics’ Dejah Thoris and Vampirella comics.

He has also done cover artwork for the horror punk band the Misfits, including their 2009 single Land of the Dead and 2011 album The Devil's Rain. He has also done several other album covers for The Misfits.
