You definitely missed out if you didn't catch American Aquarium at Beartrap Summer Festival. Their mix of blues, rock, and folk will take you to a time when Johnny Cash ruled the stage.

Dirty, raw and rootsy have all been used to describe American Aquarium, and that ain't a bad thing. American Aquarium brought their life storytelling music to Beartrap just as the summer festival intended.

A couple of years ago, the band with the unconventional name almost disappeared. They realized that life on the road, playing their raucous rock "in roadhouses, honky tonks, and dive bars," had chewed them up and spit them out.
