Geek’d Con: Shreveport is thrilled to welcome Captain Buck Rogers himself, Gil Gerard.

Buck Rogers made his big screen debut in March of 1979 with “Buck Rogers In The 25th Century” where Gil Gerard introduced us all to the live action of one of America’s greatest sci-fi heroes of all time.

From there, Gil brought Buck to the small screen for two seasons of the TV version of “Buck Rogers In The 25th Century”, where he achieved legend status as a cult hero.

Gil has also appeared as the lead in the TV show E.A.R.T.H. Force and Sidekicks, as well as guest spots in Little House on the Prairie, Days of Our Lives, Pacific Blue, and Brotherly Love.

Recently, Gil voiced the main antagonist in the cartoon Transformers: Robots In Disguise, Megatronus.

Come me the man behind Buck Rogers, Gil Gerard, in Shreveport this August!
